Yakshagana

Yakshagana is a traditional, night-long dance-drama art form from Coastal Karnataka, India, blending music, dance, dialogue, and extravagant costumes to enact mythological stories. Often called "Gandu Kale" (masculine art) or "Bayalata" (open-field drama), it features vigorous, rhythmic performances based on the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas
