Surya Namaskar
Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a sequence of 12 linked yoga poses that creates a flow designed to strengthen and stretch the entire body, improve cardiovascular health, and calm the mind. This practice involves a combination of forward and backward bends, twists, and stretches, synchronized with the breath to increase concentration and energy. It is often performed in the morning on an empty stomach and is an excellent way to warm up, tone muscles, and promote overall well-being.
