Route 50 is a highway that stretches more than 3,000 miles across the United States, from Ocean City, Maryland, to Sacramento, California.

It is often called “The Loneliest Road in America,” especially in Nevada, where the landscape is remote and empty.

The road passes through big cities, mountains, deserts, and even ghost towns, making it one of the most diverse highways in the country.
