There has been a change at The High Commission of India in Singapore Passport Services
The High Commission of India has decided to outsource passport collection in Singapore with effect from 22nd January 2009.
S$9/- per application would be charged by Passport Collection Center as service charges in addition to prescribed passport services fee.
Before the change, there were officers at the High Comm who were collecting the passports. The service fees was being used to compensate the officers’ collection work.
What are they doing now? The service fees should be used to pay the outsourcing agents now!
Why should the citizens pay extra SGD9
Am looking forward for clarifications
