Career

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

answers.com: career : ..Doing what one does as a permanent occupation or lifework..

David Maister’s Perspective on Careers was very timely :-) The followup post Ayn Rand is good too : ..The key message is that the willingness to take responsibility for what happens to you, and to make things happen, is the beginning not only of healthy thinking and exciting productive careers, but also of a life of integrity, standards and relationships. These things, I believe, are connected..For those who need an introduction, Ayn Rand was an author who wrote “The Fountainhead” and “Atlas Shrugged,” two novels that communicate her philosophy of “enlightened self-interest.”..

btw: How to Quit should be known too just-in-case !

Watched In-depth CBS report on TED - Highly Recommended :-)
Why does CBS not display the total time of the video at the least and also let one see the current clip’s position in the video

Dear TED Organizers, The download audio link for Hans Rosling at TEDTalks is not valid. Please correct.

del.icio.us Joshua writes in lessons learned: fidelity : ..the emminently social Twitter, happily informs me that while 34 people count themselves amongst my friends, only 31 of them care to be informed about I’m up to every day — and then shows me who those folks are..

Maybe twitter should let people reviews their twitters at a day level and sort them by “most recommended act”, “most happiest while doing this” etc - freedback for twitter

The Honest Food Guide is a free downloadable full-color guide in pdf

Truth Publishing contains many books on natural health, nutrition, appetite suppression and disease prevention - some are free like the one above

Thanks a lot

Mike Adams doesnot seem to maintain a blog. More like him should be maintaining blogs !

btw: I received a mail where signature included “This note is off the record (blogs, too) unless we agree otherwise.” :-)

Strategic Reluctance

Friday, January 5th, 2007

Sirena Huang on TEDTalks and Sir Ken Robinson on TEDTalks are highly recommended

Jon Udell has planted a very important seed with conceptual barriers : ..Patrick Phelan, a web developer I’ve corresponded with for years, reminded me the other day that my reluctance is strategic. With any framework, buy-in cuts two ways, and you should never take unnecessary dependencies..

Folksomoney

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Dave Winer wrote on 20th November ..Another one that I’d invest in, in an instant: An easy accounting system for small business or home users. I want to be able to pay bills (already can do this at my bank), and categorize the expenses, and have the same data available through the web, to my accountant. Same with income. When I describe this, people say “Quicken.” But geez come on, it’s not web based and it’s not easy. I want to be able to enter an expense no matter where I am. That’s the secret for detail-averse people like myself, make it painless..

I have had the same idea for some time “managing money flows with tags”

Since there are others who _need_ the same..

human potential and soul genetics

Monday, November 13th, 2006

what are you up to right now ?

what have you achieved ?

what was your teacher’s (parents’..) opinion about you during the school years ?

Listen to Ben Saunders - the Solo Explorer now !

On Friday and Saturday, Dattatreya Siva Baba spoke about soul genetics and many other _important_ matters including manifestation.. There are lots of information @ Siva Baba Spiritual Teachings. Life Solutions from Dattatreya Siva Baba would be a good starting point.

btw: Steve Pavlina has posted many answers to the question If you could pass on one valuable lesson to the world before you die, what would it be? : me: (easy) smile (not so easy) meditate
