This Release of Microsoft HealthVault is intended for use only within the United States

Friday, October 5th, 2007

Microsoft HealthVault : This release of Microsoft HealthVault is intended for use only within the United States(US). We are working to make HealthVault available globally and encourage you to try again at a later date.

That is ok

BUT

1) why did I have to select a “stronger” password for the LiveID before getting this message !

2) why does Microsoft not care to automatically add my name/email to a mailing list and inform when the service is available for the specific country.. Why should I be looking at this at a later date if there is no mention about what I should expect at a later date..

TechCrunch: Microsoft Tafiti Is Beautiful, But Will Anyone Use it?

Tafiti might be beautiful. But if the site is _so_ slow to load.. will anyone care ?

Is Tafiti useful-usable-desirable ?

Bloglines vs Google Reader

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

Am not switching from Bloglines to Google Reader yet!

Reasons:

1) In the Settings > Subscriptions screen, there is a “Filter by name, tag, or URL” option. There doesnot seem to be a way to realise “show all feeds with no tags!”. This is very important to organise feeds !

2) Also there is no hierarchical display of subscriptions by tags!

There are many who have switched from Bloglines to Google Reader like Geek to Live: From Bloglines to Google Reader

The next best feature for Google Webmaster Tools Links

Tuesday, February 6th, 2007

The new feature in Google Webmaster Tools Discover your links is very useful

The next best feature would be to show the summary of domains that link to the page and then the details

e.g., Imagine 1000 links to 1 page… But 600 from the same domain and 300 from another and 100 from many..

Seeing many pages full of blogtree.com is not useful !
