On account of Lunar Eclipse on 28th August 2007 which is visible in Singapore, occuring later in the day, Yajur Upakarma can only be performed on the following Pournami day, i.e. on 26th September 2007. Rig Upakarma on Monday, 27 August 2007 and Gayathri Japam on Wednesday, 29 August 2007 are to be performed without change as the eclipse on 28 August 2007 has no bearing on either. Based on NASA’s map, the affected countries in the arena of our membership are Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Western and Central parts of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane excluded but Perth included). For information, it also occurs in North East Asia (Japan, China, HK, Korea etc.) plus other ASEAN countries.
Countries not affected:Eastern Australia, NZ, India, Sri Lanka. In USA and Canada eclipse occurs at the moon set and thus will not have any effect on performance on Yajur Upakarma. Upakarma can be performed on 28th August itself in such countries.

When I read/understand GRC more, I think of this movie too - It was a good decision to watch this movie.. rather than one of the latest English ones..
